Sales of New Book by Toby Slough to benefit Project Red Light Rescue

Normal

About the Book:

What is normal? Who decides it? Have you ever seen the inkblots that psychologists use to test  their patients? Officially, it’s known as the Rorschach test. They ask the question, “What do you see?” Sometimes I think we approach the Bible that way. Like it’s one giant inkblot and we’re left to decipher what it means, what it’s supposed to be and marvel at its mystery. For example, we look at the Book of Acts and say stuff like, “Well that’s interesting. I wonder why they did that?” or  “I wonder what that’s supposed to mean?” We look at life in the Kingdom and try to figure out what applies to us, what doesn’t make sense, and scratch our heads about it. We treat it like it’s something to overanalyze, but maybe what we read and “decipher” is more normal than we think.
