Imagine what it’s like…

Imagine what it’s like for kids to live without enough water, or without food, or education, or without anybody being there for them. Imagine what it’s like to feel your stomach aching really bad… all the time. That’s what most Indian kids feel every day.
If you see the faces of starving children, some even being close to death because of malnutrition and sickness – and if you see the thirsty look on their faces, it is easy to understand that God wants to help them. It is the heart of S.O.S. to be there to help by bringing food and water and education to those hungry kids.
“The poor and needy search for water, but there is none; their tongues are parched with thirst. But I the LORD will answer them; I the God of Israel, will not forsake them.
I will make rivers flow on barren heights. And springs within the valleys. I will turn the desert into pools of water,
and the parched ground into springs
…so that people may see and know, may consider and understand, that the hand of the LORD has done this, that the Holy One of Israel has created it.” -Isaiah 41: 17-18, 20
