Destiny India Project - Schools and Feeding
It is estimated that one out of three malnourished children in the world live in India and that around 40 million children in India do not have access to education.
Children in slums are left daily to their own care. They often do not develop mentally and are locked out of the competition to gain a seat in a free public school because of family circumstances or nutritional challenges.
Destiny India Schools are free schools in slum areas for children between the ages of 3 to 6 where children are instructed in the basics of reading, writing, and arithmetic.
Through Destiny India Schools, children are given the opportunity to learn, they receive uniforms, are fed a hot meal daily, undergo regular medical check-ups, and given hope for a bright future.
The Destiny India Project unlocks the doors to a brighter future for slum children, helping to redeem their tomorrow by providing basic needs: Education, Food, Clothing, Medical Care, and Mentoring.
